Social Circles is a small Jersey business that lists what's on around the island. This page explains what we collect when you use the site and what we do with it.

What we collect

Only what you type into one of our forms:

• Joining our list (Gather invites and secret events): your email, and your name if you give it.
• Go together: your first name, how to reach you, and the event you're interested in.
• Add an event: the event details, and your contact details so we can check them with you.

The site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

To send you the emails you asked for, to set up group meet-ups, and to check event details before we list them. We don't sell your details or share them with anyone else for marketing.

Event details you send in may be published on the site once we've checked them. Your own contact details are never published.

Where it's kept

Our forms are run by Tally, which stores what you send. The site itself is hosted on GitHub Pages.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom, or ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Message us on Instagram at @socialcircles_ci.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can contact the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner.
